One way out

Alone in a room with the depths of despair We search for hope, but noone is there Walls painted black - The blood rains down Our minds wander off and then we drown. The harder we fight the louder we scream The more it all seems like a desolate dream. We're grasping at strings as they disappear In our chests we feel the end drawing near Tightness and pain - we hold our breath Darkness overpowers as we wish for death We close our eyes shut and hide our tears Afraid we might see our very worst fears Our lives become meaningless and adverse Relinquished of joy, this sorrow's our curse We struggle so long to finally transcend In that which we choose to make it all end.
